Enjoy a rustic glamping experience in the bunkie (a well-reviewed Air B and B) or bring your tent and camp out in the cedars.
The Bunkie
The Bunkie is facing the pond and nestled in the trees, and is designed to feel that you could be in the middle of nowhere as the main farmhouse is out of sight. Watch the sun rise through the east-facing double doors, and check out all the birds as you sit on the cozy, sheltered porch.
The queen sized bed in the bunkie sleeps two comfortably, and includes an extra cot for kids, with linens in the drawers. Additional guests are welcome to pitch a tent and camp out with you. We do provide a few basic comforts, but pack like you’re going camping.
The double doors open up to an eastern hillside view to watch the sun rise from your bed. Have breakfast of farm-fresh eggs on the front porch overlooking the pond. Your space is minimally furnished with a queen bed, washing-up dresser, dining table, and a vintage hoosier for your plates and utensils.
Guests are asked to bring their own towels to enjoy swimming and comfortable weekend camping in style. Remember you will be packing out what you pack in, and leave no trace. You may drive your car to the bunkie to unload and pack up, and then return your car to the parking lot (2 min. walk).
Water is provided.
There is an outdoor kitchen, cooking options including a fire pit and several different stoves and BBQs, all the utensils you’ll need, and a sink for washing your hands and dishes.
The clean and fresh outhouse is stocked with sanitizer and toilet paper.
